By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, the site is still yours to read; the parts of it that do something, like the estimator and the contact form, are the parts these terms govern.

Information about what we do, and a tool that produces an estimate from answers you type in.

That is the whole of it. Using the site does not make you our client, does not create a professional relationship between us, and does not oblige either of us to anything.

The estimate the tool produces is generated by a program from what you entered. It is an estimate of where time goes in a business like the one you described. It is not a quote, not a valuation, not a recommendation, and not professional advice of any kind. We show the workings so you can judge it yourself, and you should.

Prices shown on this site are indicative and inclusive of GST unless we say otherwise. They can change.

Terms for actual work are agreed in writing, per engagement, and they are not these terms. If the two ever disagree about an engagement, the engagement agreement governs.

Read it, print it, quote it with attribution, and send it to whoever you like.

What we ask you not to do: take the site apart and pass it off as your own, scrape it in a way that degrades it for other people, try to break into it, use it to send anyone anything unlawful, or put information into the estimator that belongs to someone who would not want you to.

The text, design, code and images on this site are ours or licensed to us.

The answers you type into the estimator stay yours. We use them to produce your estimate and, if you ask for it, to send it to you. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is stored and how to have it deleted.

Where we link out, we are pointing at something we thought was worth reading. We do not control it and we are not responsible for it.

We try to keep the site up and correct. It is a website, so sometimes it will not be, and we may change or remove any part of it without notice.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. If anything here is inconsistent with that, the Australian Consumer Law wins and the inconsistent part does not apply.

Where the law permits us to limit our liability, and where the services are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic or household use, our liability for failing to comply with a consumer guarantee is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.

Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows: we are not liable for loss you suffer from relying on the estimate or on anything else on this site, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

The Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and how to have it deleted. It is part of these terms.

We will update these terms from time to time and the date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Changes do not apply backwards to anything already done.
